This Party begins is from 7-10pm in the Koi Lounge (downstairs) at Chinatown Brasserie. It's a benefit party for "Movember"!!! What does that mean??? Read more details below, but there will be a cash bar and passed canapés for the first hour...and some sweet prizes to be raffled off.

WHO WE ARE
We are a team of co-workers from Chinatown Brasserie.
It all started by our team captain Joe Minchik, who invited all of us
to join him in this little adventure. In the beginning it was a small group
of guys doing what we can to raise funds and awareness. Soon we
received support through the management at Chinatown Brasserie and
realized with our resources and connections, we could do more.
We are throwing a benefit party on November 28th in the Koi Lounge at
Chinatown Brasserie. We are expecting between 150 to 200 people,
which includes newspapers, bloggers, local magazines, as well as
other community businesses. Our goal is to raise US $25,000,
by the end of the month.
ABOUT MOVEMBER
Since its humble beginnings in Melbourne Australia, Movember
has grown to become a truly global movement inspiring more than
1.1 Million Mo Bros and Mo Sistas to participate with formal campaigns
globally. No matter the country or city, Movember will continue to work
to change established habits and attitudes men have about their health,
to educate men about the health risks they face, and to act on that
knowledge, thereby increasing the chances of early detection,
diagnosis and effective treatment.
The funds raised are directed to programs run directly by Movember
and our men’s health partners, the Prostate Cancer Foundation and
LIVESTRONG, the Lance Armstrong Foundation. Together, the three
channels work together to ensure that Movember funds are supporting
a broad range of innovative, world-class programs in line with our
strategic goals in the areas of awareness and education,
survivorship and research.
